Battery Storage
Battery Energy Storage Systems
Radnes is pleased to introduce a new equipment range from specialised battery manufacturer RoyPow. The Power Store Is a battery energy storage system that can be charged from the grid, solar PV and a generator? This allows the Power Store to have multiple applications and uses including construction, events, infrastructure, rail and plant and equipment charging. The use in construction is in conjunction with reducing fuel consumption and emissions to provide clean power. The versatility of the RoyPow Power Store means that it can be transported to where the power is required and can be used for lighting, telecoms, power tools and plant and equipment charging.

What is can a BESS be used for?
The RoyPow Power Store is available in three storage capacities ranging from 10 kWh, 20 kWh and 30 kWh. These capacities increase the applications of the equipment and allows the user to store power from Solar PV or offset diesel or petrol usage when in hybrid use with a generator. The use with a Solar PV system means that energy captured during the day can be stored for use when the sun is not shining or at night when the second shift starts. When being used with forklift trucks the BESS can be used to also offset high power prices and allow electric trucks to operate where there is no power.
Off-grid applications
The RoyPow Power Store equipment is available to be charged from a Solar PV array. This is an ideal solution when there is no grid connection for instance an outdoor event or infrastructure project. A Solar PV array can be built to charge the Power Store deploying the stored energy to support FLT’s, lifting equipment, cranes, power tools and welding equipment. The use of Solar PV as an energy source is becoming increasingly popular to reduce carbon emissions and meet sustainability targets.
A Counterbalance Forklift can make your workplace safer
The construction sector accounts for the highest proportion of back injuries in the workplace.
Using a forklift is a great way to cut down on time people spend carrying loads on site, and reduce the risks that go along with it.
