Radnes is once again sponsoring the Magical Taxi Tour that supports Black Cab taxi drivers to take sick children to Disney Paris. This fantastic charity allows the children to get a break from treatment and therapy and also allows the support staff to travel with them in a massive group. This would not be possible without the help of sponsors like Radnes and others which sees a convoy of London taxis transporting over 200 children on an amazing three-day trip of a lifetime.
The event is organised by the Worshipful Company of Hackney Carriage Drivers and is only possible with the generous support of private donors and sponsors. Everyone is a volunteer and all contributions go towards the trip. The trip starts from Canary Wharf with a ‘Big breakfast’ before they head off to Dover to catch the ferry across to France.

Sponsorship has enabled over 5400 children to date being able to experience this fantastic trip of a lifetime. This is the third year in a row that Radnes forklift truck services has paid for a taxi to take a child all the way to Paris. The next Magical Taxi Tour will be 20th to 22nd September 2024. The support vehicles include the City London Police, London ambulance service, the AA and even the Gendarmerie Nationale. The trip is growing every year and was started in 1994 with just 50 taxis and now sees over 90 taxis making the journey.
